For over 30 years, INME has believed that the outdoors is the world’s most powerful classroom. What began in 1996 with Camp Sitlakhet — India’s first learning-based summer program in the Himalayas — has grown into 24 transformative programs across the country, from Himalayan peaks to Andaman reefs, Coorg rainforests to Pondicherry surf.

More than 1,30,000 children have experienced adventure, resilience, leadership, and growth through INME. But behind every expedition lies something even more important: trust.

From resident doctors and emergency support to Wilderness First Responders accompanying every trek, constant communication systems, and instructors trained in safety, mental health, and gender sensitivity — every INME experience is designed with care at its core.
